Design and Hosting Clients: Bill Hare Productions Bill Hare, the legendary album producer, is located in the Silicon Valley, California, and established Bill Hare Productions in 1984, specializing in Contemporary Professional and Collegiate A Cappella. "After Mike became my client with the Buffalo Chips, we of course had more occasion to talk and the subject of Acappella Hosting came up. Having been with my current host (Earthlink) for 11 years, I was a little reluctant to rock the boat - I mean, it's a big company with real hold music as I wait for real tech support in India, so I wasn't sure what this college kid could offer.
I was worried about downtime, what would happen to all of my redirect addresses for family and friends, and all these other things I had set up at Earthlink over the years that might get lost in the transfer. Mike explained that he'd get everything transferred and working before we switched over, so there would be zero downtime. He did a lot of manual inputting and other customer service sort of things a big company would never do for one of its customers to make sure every file and redirect was accounted for before we switched over.
I'm a big believer that going above and beyond for your clients is just as important as your product, and have found Mike to be of a like mind in that respect.
2 weeks ago, dyz.com moved over to Acappella Hosting and I couldn't be happier - I have WAAAAAY more space/transfer, much more functionality and flexibility on his system (with Earthlink, I couldn't even assign individual username/passwords for our FTP transfers), and in addition to all of this, it's $10 a month cheaper than what I've been paying these last 11 years! And the transfer was painless.
